I think its a false positive if it is not trully a spam site. Blogs experience that when there traffic jump so high in a day or within a few hours. :)

It's probably not because you submitted to a link farm, unless you are linking to them. Since you can't control who links TO you, you aren't penalized for that.

Are there a lot of spammy comments on your blog? You should clean those off before having Google review it.

yeah it's a false positive i order them 2 restore it but i want to know how long it takes???
Yea it's because the link farm came from the blog directory... i' submitted my site and then all of a sudden i received like 98 back links from them so i think google saw that... Because to my knowledge Google doesn't like to many backlinks to there blogs right away since they are hosting blogs for free...

I just can't imagine this being true though because you couldn't stop somebody else from signing you up... maybe it only applies to Blogger and other Google sponsored sites?

If not... everyone in the world is going rush to that blog directory and submit their competitors to tank their SERPs and PR... ;)

lol... yea it's only on Blogger... since it's a free web hosting platform Google doesn't want to many backlinks right away.. i know this for a fact, but thank god they didn't banned my ip address.. it's cool though once they see i don't have no affiliation to the blog (i.e it's not my directory and someone else owns it i'll get my blog restored) lol...

Did you get a warning in WMT's or some other way?
How do you know it is a false positive and how did you "order" them to restore it?

What do you base this knowledge on? Is it referenced somewhere on blogger?

How do you know this for a fact? Could you please link to the documentation that supports this?

Since its free web hosting, it will be on an ip block owned by Google and shared with other sites wouldn't it?
So they wouldn't ban the IP, just the URL.

    Cheers
    James

tattoo i know this because my mentor has taught me this!!!
when you create to many backlinks on blogger right away they consider that link spamming... and they won't let you use their services anymore and ban your ip address...

I've been down this road, it took about 1 month to get my blog restored. It all comes down to requesting a review in the correct order, you have to:

    1 - Request a review
    2 - Submit an appeal
3 - Post a question on the help forum stating that you've done the first 2 steps

And ask them to give Google a heads up.

The guys at the blogger help forum should forward you to Google so they can look at your blog, if you don't follow the correct order you'll be way down the waiting list. My blog has been locked twice, the second time it was locked I followed the correct order and it was restored within 24hours.
