My new website that is being built shows that I have 72k when I search for it on google. My current website shows www.lukebouman.com/ - 24k - Cached - Similar pages Is there a problem that it is so much? I see a lot of results 20k and below. Thanks
Many people today have fast connections, so this shouldn't be an issue. The only disadvantage I can think of is that if you have many visitors, 72k would consume your bandwidth faster.
I think that should be fine. Even if someone on dialup has half of their 56k it should still load in like 3 sec and I agree that more and more people are going to highspeed anyway.
You might test the new site at: http://www.iwebtool.com/speed_test It should definitely load in under 1 second. If not, I would trim it. /*tom*/
It loads faster than my current site. Can someone check out my site to see if it would be ok. Thanks, http://www.realestate-holland.com
Doogers, according to that test: Size Load time (secs) Average Speed per KB 68.93 KB 0.48 seconds 0.01 seconds
