google results suddenly changed from original domain to secondary mirrored domain

    Hi

I have several domains each mirrored to my first site.

All my incoming links have been pointed to my first site www.companyname.com. All results in google up until the weekend pointed to this original domain.

Since Saturday all results in google have changed and now point to one of my other domains (www.city+companyname.com).

The actual position in the results hasn’t greatly altered.

I don’t understand what has happened here. Should I now begin using the secondary domain for my links?

As my business is very localised the inclusion of my city name in the domain would help in search results I would imagine. Yet having created so many links to my first domain I didn’t want to change the link strategy to this domain. It seems google has done this automatically. The question here though is what will happen to the results and search engine juice they create? Are they carried over to the mirrored site?

Thanks for any help anyone can give on this one!
