Google results differ - FF Vs Safari

If I do a search for a site I recently built. First with Firefox and then with Safari, I get differing results even though I am doing it from the same location at the same time.

They must surely both be accessing the same Google severs? The site is doing well both on Google Maps and on the first main page with FF, but with Safari, although it is up there on Google maps it is nowhere to be seen in the main results.

If someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it.

    God bless.
    In Christ Jesus, Karl.

Cookies, browser history, other programmes you're logged into on the browser will all make a difference.
If you're seeing your own site doing unexpectedly well, it's because you're seeing personalised results in that browser.

    Thanks for the tip Magda.
Even though I thought I had I just cleaned both browsers and duplicated the searches...same results.

    God bless.

when you search something, look for "web history" (top right) and disable personalised results

Wouldn't you have to be logged into your Google account for that? I'm not so it can't be pulling info from there and effecting my searches, neither from my browsers as they are all cleared.

    In Christ, Karl.
