I remember when i signed up for adsense (a long time ago just checked it out)
I just made a crappy site, with almost no content, NO ads. and got accepted (was on a free host by the way) Don't know if it's harder today..

I e-mailed Google sometime back regarding a FireFox review I wrote; they replied around 8 days later. The weird thing was after I sent that first e-mail, the reply to my 2nd e-mail to change some administrative details came a few hours after their reply to my first one.

Of course, seeing that it is probably 2 seperate departments I was dealing with, it is very possible that too many webmasters have been deluging them with e-mails about AdSense compliance.

Google was the first to contact me (about a website I have) So I responded. My response to their initial contact was replied to within a day. Hope that makes more sense.

it was templatebase.net I had the label "Didn't Find what Your Looking for?Try Here? above a google add on the middle column bottom of page. Google was polite about it and just asked that I remove that label.

Yep, I'd agree and say that it takes anywhere from 1 to 7 days. Or more. You can always send them follow up email...they won't mind to be reminded. After a week I'd send them one for sure.
