Google registers patent for ranking documents based on traffic!

    Here is something fresh and Interesting from google. They now want to rank webpages in proportion with the traffic on that page.

    Apart from this, there are three new patents by google.

    - Document Scoring Based on Query Analysis.
    - Document Scoring Based on Link-Based Criteria.
    - Document Scoring Based on Document Inception Date.

    they ahve hundreds my guess is they have implemented less thna 255 of what they have painted

    looks like its relevant to AdSense/AdWords patent and not a core search algirthm patent.
