Google refusing to approve an adsense account

I recently opened another gmail email address and applied for Google adsense and they declined to approve me stating that there has been "problems with previous accounts I have created".

I do have another adsense account which is currently OK and I have other Google email addresses (without adsense). I opened them for use with Craigslist.

Anyone familiar with what Google is talking about? Any way to appeal this decision?

You are only allowed one adsense account per entity. Did you apply with a different business name and EIN number?

I used a different gmail address but the same business/personal name. Could that have been the reason?..

Also, Google said that the problem was with "previous" accounts that I have created. I do have another adsense account but it is in good standing.

Sounds to me like they are refusing you because you already have an account. It's pretty obvious really.

yeah it is obvious basically they see it a bit suspicious that you would have more than 1 account.

I don't see the point in having more than one account unless you are worried you are going to lose one of them for "bad behavior".

The reason I had decided to open a second adsense account was because I wanted to use it for testing. This is because recently I started getting uneasy about the adsense revenue for the one account that I have. I have like 5 sites with adsense ads on them and I market them using articles submitted to article directories. These are well-researched articles that attract alot of traffic (over 10,000 page views for just 33 articles)

But the adsense revenue on those keywords is very low. That is why I needed a second adsense account to test and see whether there is something going on with the first adsense account.....

Sorry dude, one account per person. You gave your real name on the second application and that is why they docked you. Previous problem accounts? Not sure what that means.....Remember Google frowns upon its email system being used on Craigslist....not sure about this though..but we'll see when more people respond to your query..

You can create another one on your companies name, or use one of your family member's names.
