Hello friends! I'd like to know if it's possible.. For example someone with IE access to my site, get the message: (somthing like tha.....) TO BROWSE OUR WEBSITE DOWNLOAD FIREFOX, OUR WEBSITE ONLY SUPPORT FIREFOX. Is it legal or is there any problem with Google TOS? Thanks, Jakomo
above al it would certainly be plain stupid - a professional web designer makes pages / sites W3C compliant hence supporting all browsers ... since approx 80% of th eglobal browsers are NON-ffx such statement would show all world that THAT webmaster has NO idea of www at all - that includes statments such s "can best be viewed with fx" etc validated pages can be viewed with any browser - anything else are marketing slogans that reduce the image / value of a site
I believe this was answered previously here and the answer was that it does not violate google TOS. However, it is very unprofessional. If I saw something like that, I would never visit that site again. You would be better off having some ad/side message about firefox allowing safer browsing. Your current idea is overkill.
