I wonder google adsense referral ads 2.0 (Product targeted CPA) are not that good when comes to comparison with CPC ... I put some ads through one site around 9 - 10 k (cant tell exact fig.) impressions .... I came to know some facts (most ppl may know already) for G Ref. Ads: 1. Images ref. ads are worst case scene. You will get thousands imp. and ppl will hardly click on those ...... they dont make much interest it seems (atleast for my site ) 2. Google shows the best performing ads more ... so some how I got a few conversions in some site and google started showing that ad more more ... and hell again it was a image (banner) ad ... so waste of space (as the image takes the whole space) and visitors. 3. Google shows same ad again and again and again .... day after day .... as I can feel from the stats part (Same product came all day with some huge impressions and no clicks in the stats) .... also I feel the ads are not interesting at all ... as a result for around 9 - 10k visitors very few clicks when compared to CPC ..... out of such clicks a couple of conversions I got ... but earning is surely not good (too bad when compared to CPC, my overall site earning dropped to 30% atleast) .. there were very few clicks (not conversions, I atleast have some clicks over there, then I think about the conversion), this states that the visitors are not interested at all with those ads they were showing ... I selected the products which were all related to what my visitors are looking for ... but surprisingly I think google was not showing too relevent ads (I will rather say 10-20% relevant ads) .. the CPC ads are better than those I guess ... So this proves Google may not have that much quality advertiser for Ref. ads right now ... may be later soon ... I am getting good conversion rate ... but still I wonder how good it is actually ... may be I should run it through the month ...
Generally, all webmasters already know about the fact that google adsense is a tool of making money, so they might probably have it already. An with the introducing of BLOG, more and more people know about Google adsense, so in this market, it is hard to get google referral. It is too common, it becomes more like general knowledge to online surfers.
yes mate ... But I am getting direct conversion ... many clicks are converting (the conversion rate is high) ... but there is not many clicks at all ... this clearly states .. same ads every day with same ad text and same link .. also the ads are not that good in target and interest ... Also the image ads are hell ..

I am getting conversions from them at good rate ... today I got one conversion for which they gave less than 10c (lowest till date, higher ones .. i got $2+) ... very very poor .... .... I donno how long I will keep this ... I tried to add that text link today also .. but after adding that I realized that ads by google word is not there ... just a link ... dont you think this will mis-guide the users ??? .. so deleted that ...
Text links are good in campare to these refrel ads. visitors dont care tht flashing ads. Blogo after some times google dont display "ads by google" tht will help you instead of damage. people will thing this is a part of your page. But i again refer text ads instaed of flashy refrel ads.
yes, but I dont want my users to be misguided with such text ads, they should atleast understand that these are ads. it may say something bad to download which users will think that our site is providing .... I doubt .. I get 1 sale out of 10 - 20 click thrus ... so I think it is good.. but again I dont have much click thrus at all... flashy ads are real distracting searchmaster ... I hate those ...
