Google Re-Inclusion ?

Hello all, I had a domain that got banned around 6 months ago, for what I am not sure, it may of been by google as a domain with little content or maybe seen as a gateway page as it had very little content with an affiliate add on.
Anyway I noticed that there was a re-inclusion in google web tools, so I re-submited my domain. I have completely revamped the site and should definately not be a problem anymore.
It explains it will take a few weeks but every re-inclusion will be seen.
I have now waited 2 months
has anyone tried re-inclusion before ? if so how long did it take ? If it did get re-included did anything change ? did you get your google rank back?
    cheers all

In my experience reinstatements get dealt with within a week, they have probably rejected your request for some reason.

    Here are a few tips:

1/ Make sure you have a substantial amount of unique content.

2/ Make sure that you have no paid or spam links pointing to the site.

3/ Make sure that you have no links on your site to other ones that even look like they could be paid links.

4/ Fess up to Google and tell them exactly what you did to get penalized, the babe in the woods routine will not kick it with them.

5/ Promise them that you will never do it again.

If they let you back in the rankings don't take the michael and do whatever it is you did again.

I Agree with all the above except for:
2/ Make sure that you have no paid or spam links pointing to the site.
because you cannot get penalized because some other websites are linking to you.

Good luck with your re inclusion request.

You can think what you like really but I really do not have any idea why I actually got banned, I dont and never mess with google I have over 100 domains with around 40 sites personally.

This site is completely new and nothing like the site it was before, its in no way breaking any of googles rules.

Also I have never used paid links.

    Thanks for the feedback

The reinclusion request is a joke, seriously they dont even look at your site the majority of the time.

I bought a domain from TDNAM, it had some backlinks but was not cached so i gave it a slick design and pages of unique content and it still wouldnt cache or index.

I submitted a reinclusion with full proof that i had purchased it and had no knowledge of its past activites, included the auction URL, Whois details and payment receipt.

Its nearly a year and not a single page is cached despite it having dozens of authority PR7/6/5 backlinks.

Needless to say im letting the domain drop in a few weeks and cut my $5k losses as a bad joke, so much for "Do On Evil".

Unless you know someone at Google, you wont be able to do anything. But thanks for the offer.

I've experienced delisting too - getting back into Google is like getting into Fort Knox :(

I guess you are right, google is so busy in other things that they dont give re inclusion much importance.
