Google Re-Inclusion Works!

Just a heads up for the people out there with banned domains for the wrong reasons. One of my newly registered sites about 4months ago never made it to google... unlike my other sites that do so in 2-5 days...

Well i e-mailed google, within 3 days my site appeared on the SERPS! Yay!

So if you have a domain that isn't doing anything wrong and hasn't been included in a while, e-mail google. They are a nice bunch of guys!

Hope this helps someone get their domain in google :D

im not so sure why you're amazed that the re-inclusion works, as that's what it's meant to do...

Sorry. I have seen many people complain that it never worked for them so I am just giving them a heads up that google does go through the requests so they will try and hopefully get it working for them too.

I bought a website last year that had been dropped from the google index in the big ban of July 05 (fully knowing it had been banned), I picked it up cheap because it was banned, it only took me 2 weeks to get it back in the index.

Most of that 2 week was spent going over the site and removing _anything_ google could possibly object to, then I filed a reinclusion request, got an email telling me the request was going off to engineering, then bang back in google, PR restored etc etc.

It was a gamble that paid off (really nicely!)

Well I figured I would try just for the hell of it, on a old website that I got banned for using doorway pages on. They have all been deleted for some time now. I picked the "I'm a webmaster inquiring about my website" -> "Why my site disappeared from the search results or dropped in ranking" . Explained I received bad SEO advice (doh!) when I was first starting, learned my lesson, deleted the content a while ago and figured I would give it a shot.

Been 2 weeks so far, hasnt been unbanned but i guess we will see, ya never know.

They do respond, the first time I got the automated system thanking me for my "question", then a few days later I got a personal email saying that they had sent my site off to "engineering" for evaluation, and then bang back in.

Or maybe they just let the site back in because they got sick of this guy in new zealand constantly refreshing the same google search every 10 seconds and getting the same result. (doing a site search on the domain that was banned, I can tell you I hollared louder 'n hell when I actually got results back)

I sent a reinclusion after my site was dropped when I signed up to the co-op network - and I subsequently removed the co-op code from my site.

Unfortunatly it seems that there are still hundreds of sites out there with co-op links to my site so I will probably have to wait ages for them to drop out of the google cache before my application is accepted.

    :(

but nothing happens and I don't know if you can call a canned email a reply...
I have asked them to re-include a site that was dropped for some reason, not sure what it was and still don't know why it got dropped!!
I am hoping that the legal class law suit will change the way Google drops site so you have a chance to fix whatever is wrong!
I thought that you were "Innocent until proven otherwise" but I guess, not in this case...

Is there a place where i can find websites that have been banned by Google and are no-longer wanted by their owners?

What about a place I can buy URLs banned by Google?

    Just a thought.
