    Ran across this site : http://www.googlerankings.com/

    It claims to be able to give a ranking of a website in google and asks for your API key. Is this legit or is it a way to access info into your account?

    Also are there commonly used tools for page rankings?

    It is fine to put in your API key. Not much they can do with it besides run queries and exhaust your daily supply. No account access or anything like that.

    The keyword tracker here (click tools on the nav) tracks up to 200 places deep, multiple keywords, keeps histroical records and works for msn and yahoo too.

    Googlerankings lets you go 1000 on google one at a time.
