Hi,

I was told from other website optimization expert, if we leave our website address on forum when post messages, it will hurt our ranking in SE.

I discover that many tracffics are coming from the related industry forum,
I don't want to lose these traffices.
so I would like to know if this will hurt ranking in SE. If so, if I use another website address, but still pointing to our website, will it still hurt our ranking in SE?

Yes, it is good to have your website in forums.

Well putting your site in forums siganture is beneficial in both SE and indexing

 

Then that person is not an optimization expert. The links in my signature have only ever helped my sites.

 

why should it hurt your ranking ?

 

Take any publicity you can get man. When you stop worrying about little things and start thinking about inventive ways to drive traffic to your sites you will see real traffic.

 

These are heavily crawled ages on DP, so it should help in some way.

 

Don't you see that almost every user of this forum have links in their signatures. Now think about it. Why's that?

 

Because we are trying to get our sites banned.

 

I have a site, I do not know why got banned by google?!
