I have a website and my website inner page was on 3rd page of Google. When lot of visitors come from Google on this page the page got good rank and come in 1st number of Google thus Google promote a page and gives it authority because traffic are coming on this page. So i think backlinks are not a good way to promote a page because lot of efforts required and massive backlinks creation may also penalized a site. If i use some web proxy of that country where i am targeting traffic and access Google from that proxy and type keyword of my page and click on it, does in this way may i promote my each page?

    Thanks,
    Alex.

I think it's likely that Google does look at CTRs in the search results - at least for the major keywords - to work out which results are the most favourable, but I've never seen it make such an obvious difference as the one you're describing. I'd put that down to coincidence, and concentrate on getting links. But assuming it wasn't coincidence and it was all about traffic - Google's got very good at detecting traffic fraud from dealing with PPC click and impression fraud, so I'd bet that even if they were using traffic to change the ranking of a search result, your little experiment wouldn't work, as the traffic would have a whole load of flags, like set IPs, behaviour etc.
