I just saw my site appear as no.6 in one of the keyword. If PR do not guarantee ranking, then do nearly top google ranking guarantee traffic?(My traffic from search engine nearly zero at this moment)
Depends on the keyword... I can only tell you that there is a huge difference between ranking 6th and 2nd for example.
It's really depends on the keywords you're targeting, you should do some deep keyword research before you even start to optimize and target anchor texts.. If you optimize for the wrong keywords, you'll properly never see any results BTW, PR was and still one of the most important factors to rank websites within Google Search Engine.. All you need to do, is to achieve it only by targeting your targeted list of keywords in the anchor text Hope i was clear and helpful.
It depends on the search volume. That's no point to listed at the first place if nobody search with that keyword
It depends on how many people are really searching that keyword for. A less searched keyword would generate less traffic and vice versa.
no it isn't I've seen countless sites with NO PR rank very well in google and other search engines. As for the OP If you are ranking high for keywords that are getting searched, you'll get traffic.
