hello ma site www.datarecoverylinux.com was continuously on top positions for major keywords bt on tuesday ranking for all keywords goes down to 5th and 6th pages I usually do directory , articles and link exchange plz suggest me what to do know
review your last 2 weeks activity for links exchange and directory submission, looks like one or more links have hurt your website rankings
actually we had around 60 sites and ranking for each site goes down so there is no chance of getting affected by last two weeks work we also exchanged links with our own site is this is d reason bcoz we wrk on all sites ba same IP and serveres are also same
You should hire a good SEO.... but if you want to do it by yourself, try to do things in following order... 1- Populate targeted keywords, title and descriptions for all pages.. 2- Create and upload XML-Sitemap for the website. 3- Create and upload robots.txt for the site. 4- Submit your site to major ODPs 5- Execute a consistent Link Building Campaign for the site. 6- Directory Submission 7- Article Submission 8- Social Bookmarking 9- Forum Postings 10- Blog Commetning you will surly get some good traffic if you could perform this tasks with efficiency... feel free to ask for assistance, if u need anytime in future...
Also, you should avoid excessive linking between your own sites... One of my client's site got banned on yahoo due to same reason and could be removed from blacklisting only after removal of those links... GudLuk
we already hav a team of seo , i think excessive linking b/w our own site is d reason. i hav removed links frm one of my site today for testing purpose lets c if it affects
I hav removed links of my own sites which is about 200 in nos when is d chance of getting back to no one in rankings
There could be a number of resons that your website has fallen down, it maybe that you were building to many links within one week and is does not look natural to google. it may just be that your website has fallen down and will soon ping back up. i have seen that a few times or you may be coming our of sandbox or your copy on the website is not well written. There will be lots of area that you will need to look at
It is a simple process and Google updated their search results frequently on the basis of several factors. Keep working on your website and your rankings would be back on the previous positions.
The same case happen with me my all keywords are in to 50 but certainly the ranking goes down beyond 100.
can u please tell me do you have unique content for each site..i guess if you are pasting same content in all website the it's considered as duplicate issue..otherwise it may be database updates
i think you might have built too many links with short period of time interval and "G" eye would have considered it as spammy and not natural one.Thjerefore you keep working on your website but make sure that now you promote it i a quite effective way with no tactics.
