    They're different. Yahoo, msn and google compete against each other, they don't provide the same product, nor do they work together to make search engine alogarithms.

    Currently I have the opposite problem with one of my keywords. I can't get any decent position on google, but I'm in the top 10 at yahoo getting significant traffic for it.

    It's not really nice to optimize a website for each search engine. Is hard because each has different rules, so sometimes you have to make a compromise. You can't optimize for 1st position in all major SEs.

    well, same situation for my blog.

    it's rank well in google but not in yahoo for same keyword. I'm also confuse what to do to rank well in yahoo.

    all you need for msn is a few links.... i was ontop of msn months b4 i got ontop of google...and im still trying to get ontop of yahoo, nearly there... sitting at number 5.

    its probably because googly optimisation is talked more therefore a lot of sites are subconsciously optimized for googly

    Search engines are really very fast.....24 hours back i was on third position on google but now i am on 50th position for keyword "seo writing services"... I stayed on number three for more than 2 months....but sudden fall....:( who knows?

    I would concentrate on where the traffic is, which is google. I wouldn't worry too much about msn. If you do things to get listed better in msn you might loose google rankings.
