I'd also add: mobile first. Make sure the mobile version of your site is exceptionally good (speed, usability). Find out more here: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/ranking-factors/top-ranking-factors/#close
Whatever that is, it was definitely too old when it was made as Google keeps changing ranking algorithms almost daily.
the argument they were making is that backlinks are dead. and keywords are dead. and basically anything that tries to "game" the google algorithm is dead. Are you saying these methods have found a second life?
I said many times on here that the whole SEO game is dead, so yeah, you're right. But it doesn't mean we should be sloppy. A well-built site with quality content is what you really need. Then it boils down to perseverance and a bit of luck. Some give up so easily. They think they'll get traffic within 3 weeks. Well, it may take 3 years. Being patient should be a way of life, if you want to make $$ online. Otherwise, go get a job. PS when I say you, I mean people in general, not you personally.
what is your opinion of using affiliates to send you traffic? using something like 100% commission on the first offer in the sales funnel to reward them for taking the risk with paid traffic or the risk of sending your funnel to their list of nurtured leads... Can a strategy like that work to get traffic quickly?
People like to be rewarded, so anything that rewards visitors could go viral. Witness how PayPal went viral for an example.
paypal stripe and dogecoin are all outside of my level of dev... I was more talking about simple info-product funnels that use stripe integration rather than actually provide some kind of solution. In the end even paypal and stripe are not banking institutions. look at onlyfans, they were told to make their site PG by the banking institution and they nearly folded. I have heard of dogecoin payment gateways, and maybe sites that dont want to fold to the banking elites can look at that as an option?
