Google Rank And Post Editing

    I had the Google Rank 1 for a post(One Piece 302 Delayed) for around 7 days for the keywords "one piece". Then I edited the post after the episode of the serial (one piece) came. Consequently, my GR dropped to 3 :(.

    From a searchers point of view who were typing the keywords, they wanted to download this serial and after its arrival; when I included the link, I am sure they would have found the post much more useful. But, Google didnt think so.

    Is it some kind of a glitch? I can understand if the content quality or relevance is decreased, but if I am making the post better, why is there the drop in rank?

    You had just a 'fresh' bonus from google and it's finished, that's why you dropped.

    What is a fresh bonus? Does it mean my post wasnt worthy? The feedback from the people who visited was actually good.

    Google gives better positions for fresh content for a week and two. Then everything back to normal.
