    Do you think guest blogs will be ignored by Google in the future as they are often fairly thin content-wise?

    but not because they are guest blogs

    Google rewards quality content. Thin content will be ignored regardless of it being hosted by a famous guest blog or not. If a blog just posts low quality content, it will not rank well in the search results.

    Always Submit Quality Content to Authorized "Guest Blogging websites". Google unable to Ignore, because Content always remains KING.
