As most of us have seen in the last month or two, Google has altered their approach to the bidding structure in AdWords. I for example, was running 5 different campaigns, each with about 100 words in them targeted to a specific niche. I saw my minimum bid go from .50 to 10.00 for most words. The first thing to address is the ad content itself. Part of the quality score is having a relevant ad with the actual keyword you are targeting in the text. Another part is the landing page among others. Now, my questions is - if I need to put the specific keyword in each ad to get some success with it, how can I tackle this when I have 400 keyword in 4 campaigns. I know I can create more than 1 ad, but I can't apply them to a specific keyword, but only have it rotate throughout every keyword in the campaign. Please correct me if I am wrong. Do I have to create 400 different campaigns, with 400 different ads? If thats the solution, I must proceed to do it that way, but there must be a simpler solution. Thanks!
