Google Quality Score has changed my AdWords Bidding

As most of us have seen in the last month or two, Google has altered their approach to the bidding structure in AdWords.

I for example, was running 5 different campaigns, each with about 100 words in them targeted to a specific niche.

I saw my minimum bid go from .50 to 10.00 for most words. The first thing to address is the ad content itself. Part of the quality score is having a relevant ad with the actual keyword you are targeting in the text. Another part is the landing page among others.

Now, my questions is - if I need to put the specific keyword in each ad to get some success with it, how can I tackle this when I have 400 keyword in 4 campaigns. I know I can create more than 1 ad, but I can't apply them to a specific keyword, but only have it rotate throughout every keyword in the campaign. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Do I have to create 400 different campaigns, with 400 different ads? If thats the solution, I must proceed to do it that way, but there must be a simpler solution.

    Thanks!
