Google Puts Image Ads in the Search Results

    personally i feel image ads are quite well in conversions..thats what i feel even,

    but placing image ads in Search results..well looks a bit odd...but it could have a greater CTR, which should be well for a publisher dont you think?

    Do mean advertiser (Google is the "publisher" in this case)? If so, yea, as an advertiser I like it. Still don't care for it from a user point of view.

    oh sorry i thought this was in the adsense section..

    well but as an advertiser that would mean i would have to pay more..which would not be too good....

    I would assume the competition for this space/format, if opened to the general public, would be pretty fierce and the prices would probably be on the high end of the spectrum. Just like anything else though, if it doesn't make financial sense for your business don't do it.
