didn't quite grasp what google purchases is all about, if at all something like this is about to be launched

 

it seems to be a service like MSN Passport that you use to access hotmail
it enables you to have one unified "login experience"

agree to this point, looks another service like paypal.

 

They did claim that they weren't going to rival paypal (do you believe them?).

 

I think those comments come from the attitude 'paypal won't be able to rival us.'

 

This would be very good news for those of us not entirely thrilled with the PayPal user experience...

 

I'd switch to google, currently on my scale of likeability google and paypal define the top and the bottom
