Google Public Comments Not Working In SERPs?

The feature to add a public comment to a URL has been made. I've been searching big-name websites to see what others are saying, how they use it, and whether or not anyone is using it at all.

The only problem is I can't see any other comments. I thought about it, and it would make sense that Google not show every public comment- and yet instead only show comments of you friends via your Google account.

To test that out I got a friend to make a comment, and I still am not able to see it.

Am I missing something obvious here? Perhaps there is a waiting time associated with each comment?

Haven't noticed some and I don't think it's a good idea... Comments are going to public and if anyone can say anything, comment needs moderation and that will be lots of work...

Well the only reason I would see Google not taking out the comment feature, if it isn't going to show comments, is that they have plans in the future to use them.

Maybe we just have to wait :)
