Hey all, I saw a "Google Checkout" logo on SERP's sponsored listing for one of the websites. They are trying to promote their checkout. Although it is a tough task trying to put something against a brand name like Paypal. I was just curious if anyone has used "Google Checkout" earlier. Is it bette than Paypal? What extra features it has which Paypal doesn't have. P.S. Screen Shot attached.
That means the advertised site accepts Google checkout. Also, it's been like that for a few months now. I've seen those many times before.
I used Google Checkout on the "customer" side of things, and was very unhappy with it. I used it to get the $25 off they were running, and then only after submitting and paying, do I find out that the purchase I made did not qualify. Then I tried to cancel the order, and that is where the headaches started...It was like pulling teeth to cancel the order. There was a huge dissconnect between Google and the store. After speaking with the store, it was clear that the issues were on Google's side. After that experience, there really will have to be a very very good reason for me to even try using Google Checkout for my business. Morty
One nice thing about Google Checkout is that, for awhile at least, you can get 10 bucks off when you buy things from some retailers.
