hi all I have a web directory called flysounds - with over 12K links and recip links included. Lately i have noticed in my google webmaster reports that the keyword "tokyo escorts" is what google`s spiders see the most!! . and probably my site gets indexed this way - though i i get more traffic with keywords such as - the fastest directory ...etc/// this is definitely not the search phrase or keyword i want. what do i do ?
Do you mean that you see backlink text as "tokyo escorts" in GWT? If yes, then may be someone is promoting your directory using wrong link text. You can find from where it is coming by clicking on that link in GWT.
Nope. i had a link inside my directory for a site named "tokyo escorts" and from allllllllllllllllllllllll the 12K links...google focused on that one. and half a year later GWT is still showing me that this is one of my top search phrases + key words . ?

Hi hire a SEO expert and discuss this issue with him and you can also give him your keywords that you want to rank on Google some times it happens that you submit your site to any directory and that directory provides you links in thousands and same want they promote the given keywords at thousands time.
I agree with Noseflex. You need to build more and more backlinks for your targeted anchor text. Work on it!

What is the URL of the website ? I actually have a clients who main keyword is Tokyo Escorts maybe i could ask them to buy banner ads or links on your website ?
First of all minimize or remove the words "tokyo escorts" from your site and use the keywords of your choice in page names, page titles, page description, headings etc. and try to use the required keywords as many times as possible but remember that the keyword density should not be more than two or three percent.
adam - you are welcome to reffer them to me john - i already did! it keeps registering . somehow the only site that is indexed under "tokyo escorts" is getting more attention from google.
The weight of your keyword is not seen by bot probably first because you may have thousands of links but only directs to one site which is not very strong second probably your links are reciprocal again not very strong.
