Google programmers

    Someones gotta code the algorithms google uses for its search results...

    I wonder if the programmers at google get mega traffic simply because they know exactly what to target. I mean, they wrote it.

    I suspect that different coders would have to program different parts oft the algo - so that no one programmer knows the "secret"

    That would kinda make sense... i'm sure its not a small algorithm either...

    Bigger than the britches of just one (or a team for the matter) programmers.

    I bet they still have an edge though.

    I wonder how much time they get to promote their own websites and online businesses with the kind of workload they have + the excellent paypackages.
