I have a site www.premadelayouts.biz that I have submited a sitemap to google for but for some reason google is listing around 200 pages that it says is 404 not found. But when I click on several of the links for which it says not found the link works and the page is there. Plus these links are linked by static text link some pages more than once. Now I have another more important problem along with pages that I know belong on the site not being found by google over a dozen of the pages it lists are pages that I know are not on the site and i am glad they are not on the site as some of them are "adult pages". I have checked my site, the source code, everything I can think of to find if those pages do exist but they dont and are not even listed on my sitemap......so then why is google saying that it finding links to these "adult pages" when its plain to see they are not there and when I visit the page that google claims the link is on there is nothing not even in the source code. If you want to see several of the 404 pages that are for pages that I have never had on the site take a look at the screenshot in the link then look at the page on my site where it says the link is coming from and you will see there is not even a link like that on my site. http://www.premadelayouts.biz/images/404.jpg
Its because when Google crawled your site -- your server may be down so it indexed error pages but by next visit crawler will get new info and display it in serp results in next few days.
Yea guess the server was down last week, have any idea why it thinks there are links and pages in my site that are not actually there and never have been.
