I have 4 websites and I have been writing articles for them, all unique and now I am seeing when I search Google.co.uk it is showing alot of .com sites?? One of my sites has a page with 500 backlinks for one keyword and one of my rivals has a similar page for same keyword but has only 65 backlinks from their other 3 sites they use to spread link juice, but both sites have the same PR and we have been #1 and 2 for months now they are #1 - how come? The only difference I can see is they have around 10% nofollow links on an article site????
Quality is better than quantity. Check out if they have high PR backlinks and grab the link from that place to. Do reverse engineering..
You didn't mention domain age, this makes a lot of difference to rank in search engines. Also build some more quality backlinks like edu/gov sites with profile backlinks & see what happen. Don't give-up to making quality backlinks. Thanks.
we have 3 edu links and they have none... domain age their domain rivals is 7 years old and mine is 2.
Okay, I would like to add a web hosting factor. How fast your websites comparing to their? Any downtime on your hosting?
