Hi, What sort of content should a site have to go beyond a PR5? Tis true, content is king, but how much is neccisary? Having newly updated articles, they are a necessity? Your Thoughts?
i would say to have more quality inbound links. you can do that by buying higher PR site link. content is the king but the inbound links is the great king.
Content is King because if you have articles that people would love. Then they will link to you voluntarily. So the more people love your content the more backlinks you will get. The more people linking to you, the chances that your website will become popular is huge. Meaning not only you will gain PR but also high SERP rankings.
If you want to increase your page rank then buy high pr links like pr8, pr7 or pr6 let me know if you need high pr links. Thanks! iBoy!
To increase you Google page rank do the following: 1 - You have to increase qualified links to your site! Links must be located in qualified articles in other sites with high Google PageRank (4-10) and the articles must be relevant to your site articles. 2 - Never change internal URL on your site. If you have a page with www.yoursiteurl.com/page1/ never change the url to www.yoursiteurl.com/mypage1/ 3 - Try to make regular content updates. Publish as many unique articles as you can every day. Don't copy/paste them from another sites! 4 - Your articles must contain no more then 5%-8% links. 5 - Try to increase your site page number. Watch your site page URLs. They must be like these site.com/page1/ and not like those site.com/?page=1 Try to follow this advice and soon your site will get higher PR!
Right, all very good and true answers, Although google will never truly release the exact algorithm, having a mixture of newly updated and good content will thus return people and yes linking too is a must. It seems with the new ERA that meta plays a very small part now, which is good i think.
Why you don't Want to increase PR?? Everyone here is waiting for a PR update then there would be a reason and importance of the PR PR does not depend on the content of your site, it depends on the number of backlinks your site have....
do not focus that much on PR, just build your website, do what you like, build some links, if you get the pr, its just an extra, just my 2 cents, no offense
PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page's PageRank is calculated.
It may be hard to get past PR5 in any reasonable amount of time, without buying some links unfortunately
as everyone else said..backlinks..But also I think having lots of pages indexed helps..so you want to keep adding new content pages as well..
