Google PR updates - how frequent are they?

does anyone know when google updates PRs? are they on a 1/4 ly schedule, bi annual or a rolling schedule? and when is the next one?? I would be grateful if anyone knows how it all works. thanks.

thanks - OK, so there not on any sort of known schedule, they just happen when google decides. next one must be close???

 

So many PR updation threads.... Anyhow google updates the PR at least once in four months. They'll change their algorithm frequently to penalize online cheaters...

Base on the history, google update PR every 3 months. But who know if they change the update period

 

Since the last update happened at the end of April, then it is expected for the next PR update to happen in August.

 

almost after 3 plus month...

 

The toolbar used to get updated once in 3 months. It all depends on Google.

 

Google update PR every day on a continuous basis internally and factor that into the rankings daily. Every 3-4 months they export a snapshot of the internal PR to the toolbar. By the time we get to see it, its assumed its already 2 or so weeks old and incorporated into the rankings.

 

that's maybe soon, some site of mine PR changed..

There is actually no particular trend or exact date which indicates when is the actual PR update. Nobody knows about it expect for the people at Google and webmaster like us can only speculate. Previous PR update history shows that the time gap can be between 90-120days.

 

They update ever three months from what i had been observing, my pr was 4.. dropped to 2 in april!
