    how often does google changes the cache page? i have site cached on 25 Mar, changed quite a bunch of things since then but google is till showing the old cache.

    It's easy, ;) just get the right amount of quality links. Those numbers are based on PR for the page where your link is placed, not the main page PR.
    Further on they assume that the page with your link has not more than 10 other outbound links.

    To get a

    PR 2 you need about > 100 PR1; or - 20 PR2; 4 PR3; 1 PR4 link
    PR 3 ... > 500 PR1; or - 100 PR2; 20 PR 3; 4 PR 4; 1 PR5 link
    PR 4 ... > 3.000 PR1; 500 PR2; 100 PR3; 20 PR4; 4 PR5; 1 PR6 link
    PR 5 ... > 20.000 PR1; 3000 PR2; 500 PR3; 100 PR4, 20 PR5; 4 PR6; 1 PR7 link
    PR 6 ... > 100.000 PR1; 20.000 PR2; ...
    PR 7 ... > 500.000 PR1; ...

    Well, keep in mind a couple things.

    pr 0.2 counts as a pr1 link. 1.2 counts as pr2, etc

    AND

    Your internal links count towards this total.
