Google PR Update Today 05/07/2012

    Today anyone noticed any PR update, i just noticed that some of my sites gone PR0 to PR1, maybe its just a minor Update.

    NO, thing change are updates find in my website, both of website Page Rank value are remain same, We also check official twitter account of Google and don’t find any kind of announcement for the Google side.

    I think I received an upgrade to my pagerank at about the same time. It went from 0 to 1.

    I dont even check PR these days as it does not carry the 'Kudos' it did a few years back,its the amount of quality visitors to my sites that i am interested in as that is what gives you the 'revenue' and that is what business is all about.

    PR is Super BS Today.

    Google wants to kill the PR completely. Don't think it will be relevant by next year.

    The only people that care about PR anymore are those who are spending money to buy links on sites with high PR or those selling them. It's not a useful metric. Look at domain and page authority at OSE and you'll get a far more relevant indicator of the authority of a site. Worrying about PR is so SEO 2007

    You are somehow right - it is not a good indicator when selling/buying links anymore, but link buyers still tend to keep an eye at it, hence the pricing they would be happy to pay for them...
    In my opinion there are many more important and better factors to look at when building links nowadays, i.e. ultra high niche relevance, which was always a major factor.

    Otherwise, no PR changes across my sites so far.
