Google PR update is effective?

    Hai buddy One of my site's PR is decreased from 4 to 2 Another one is from 2 to 3. But actually i have been working on first one promptly that means quality backlinks from forums, blogs... (Here's enough traffic)2 one's been idle for the past few days.After their update they changed PR conversely those two sites...Why??? This is what my question

    its good that pr update and pr is effective to measure website and webpage importance but last thing is keywords rank, traffic and inquiry at end of day.

    I accede with your point theseohouse... Is there anybody else to clarify my doubt? Google took update at regular interval but in each and every update, there should be better thing in their latest update compared to the former update. Here i want to what is speciality in current update that's all...
