Google PR update and SERPs

I am wondering something. I am in the process of updating the code for my site at quoteforinsurance.com. I started doing that last week. I had been ranking decent in Google and Yahoo for a few months, but like everyone one else I wanted to better my position. Anyway, Google and Yahoo have Cached my changes already and I went from a PR5 to a PR7 in the PR update a few days ago.

Now I have dropped (in some cases as much as 100 spots or more in the SERPs) for Google and Yahoo has dropped to nearly N/A across the board. Is this typical? Or should I be concerned?

I think that u need to work on the text part of the website. Now that u have a PR of 7 with following some seo basics u can get good SERPS. U can use top section(header) of the website to use promotional keywords like Auto Insurance in strong tages also repeat hese in text and also rework on your links and edit thei description using promotional words then wait for 2-3 months say atleast...

And just so you know, internal PR is updated constantly. Toolbar PR is just an indication, and won't actually affect your SERPs at all.
