some of my websites have dropped from pr >2 to ND during the last two days. is this normal ? how long it will stay like this ?
@hotpop: the same for me: my new site got a PR0, others didn't have any change... I hoped in something more than "the same"
I straddle a lot of different domain properties, and here's my experience: The vast majority of mine were stable or saw an uptick. All of the legitimate sites (and by legitimate, I mean run by real people with real purposes besides serving ads or selling the domains) on my servers were at least stable, and a lot of the PR2s popped up to PR3s. Almost all of my parked, for sale or monetized domains saw a pop up. Usually like from no PR to PR1/PR2 or from PR3 to PR4. Three went to PR0, out of 118 total sites. Overall, I think this PR update represents an effort by Google to implement a better bullshit detector. And judging by the number of domainers crying bloody murder, it worked. If you didn't like the update, my advice to you is to get your SEO techniques and link farming under control, and focus on making them more white hat.
By ND do you mean no rank at all, not even a zero? If that's the case, sometimes in the middle of the update certain domains are still waiting to be processed. You'll find these domains typically display as no rank until they are processed. Nothing to be alarmed about right now. If it's that way in three days, then you might need to be a bit more apprehensive.
I had a couple of dropped sites that I bought that day that dropped from PR3 to n/a... Which is no fun , luckly the guy that sold them has agreed to swap them back..
I tested my directory with the live PR checker... it has the same PR (shit!!!) but many internal pages have got a better PR. I Hope they'll still working on it By the way what do I have to do to increase its pagerank? sell my soul to devil? I would like to knnow why I got a result with livepr.ezer.com and if I try with http://www.jenncria.com/pagerank.html I got a different one? Maybe livepr.ezer.com predict the future?
Well I got a minor update too from a few of my sites, but it does not seem to involve big values eg >PR5
Do you work for big G? all this people have noticed changes and myself too, i noticed in 2 domains they went from PR to N/A i wonder if they are stuck with the N/A lol
Tw of my sites went from pr 2 to pr 3, one site went from pr 0 to pr 1 but the one thing that dissapoints me is that my entertainment blog now got pr 1 from a previous of pr 2. So far , I am happy with the pr change for my sites but I sure hope that my pr from my entertainment blog goes up in teh coing days since I am writing tehre a lot.
@dropcatchsell you are not alone. Some think happened to me, but it's only on the index page. Inner pages still have the same pr. Same thing happened to me a few years ago. Had "undefened" "N/A" .... for almost 3 weeks.
I am from China too, and I dont see any kind of update here on any of my sites. It must be your domain which you bought from the sites which have lost the PR after you started putting stuff on it
