Is it possible for PR to become lower.. Let say mine is PR5 and by the end of this July, it drops to PR3?

Truth is no one knows, and estimates are just estimates.

Based on the information so far I estimate that the next PR update is on the 32nd July, of which my PR will be 11!!

dont trust anything from PR prediction tools. It never give an accurate result. it might even disapoint you when you didnt get that result you expect. take it easy for PR.

 

The only people who know when Google will update PR are psychics and Google employees.

 

I have heard of one tool.

A tool like no other, one that accumulates your backlinks and specific PR pages linking to you and computes them in an algorithm.

The name escapes me...I think it's called Google?

I read somewhere within these forums or matt's seo forum, something like that . That Google PR is done every 3 months - now is that 3 month time frame and I notice that one of my PR4 site had 0 for a short while. Also I have noticed an important keywords on the SERP reports move drastically (this has not moved in 3 months - unlike the hundreds of other keywords that do fluctuate regularly).....

so my guess is their PR update is running now.

 

yeah...maybe its running now, i observed PR fluctuations 2 hours ago in two sites.

 

page rank is constantly updated on a daily basis as such you will see your results fluctuate on the Google listing. However every 3 months or so the reflect this into the actual PR which you see on the google toolbar. I hope this makes sense.

 

I back this. I too had the same experience from iwebtool.

 

So every 3 months is when it gets 'set in concrete' until the next update (3 months)

 

Yes. I had PR5, which dropped to PR4 two PR exports ago, despite aggressive link building. I'm hoping for that 5 again this upcoming one.

 

Im sure if you have improved the backlinks then yea your PR will probably go up but you can't know for sure until google updates

 

The Google PageRank update is due around mid to 3/4 of the way through July.
I should have PR 5 hopefully by then (I'm on PR4 now)
