Google PR - PR10 with 0 backlink ???

Heya,

all this time I had the impression that to gain google PR, you need tons of backlinks, but why is https://www.google.com/adsense/report/aggregate .... PR10 ? when I search on google, there are no backlinks to this page? or any other adsense internal pages?

This kinda confuses me about PR

 

Don't believe everything you see with Google's toolbar - until a recent toolbar update, it never displayed PR for secure pages. I think it defaults to the top domain's PR when you view a secure page, but I'm not positive.

Try viewing other secure pages - login to PayPal or other secure site and I think you'll see those pages displaying PR as well.

I never use google toolbar, i use www.checkpagerank.com

I know that google toolbar is only updated every 3-4 months, what about the website I use?

 

Uses the Google API I'm guessing so the same thing as the toolbar.

 

Heh its google. They could give themselves PR11 if they wanted to
