Google PR checking with toolbarqueries.google.com

    Hi Dpers,

I'm using a third party Java library to check, and display PageRanks at one of my directories. The guy who implemented the third party library uses toolbarqueries.google.com and few other Google data centers to fetch PR information. Is it legal to query toolbarqueries.google.com using our own software programs?

Once i have read in some websites that NO custom coded software systems should query toolbarqueries.google.com other than Google tool bar. Is it?

    Thanks

Google always try to prevent automated queries, however the only thing they can do is by looking IP addresses if not logged in to your Google Account otherwise they might be using Client Cookies as well ;)
