    Hi All,

I just wanted to share this with everyone

"This morning Google released information about their analysis of the exaggerated click-fraud numbers. Without pointing fingers, they mention that click-fraud analysis companies need to clean up their methods. From the post, 'A rigorous technical analysis by Google engineers has found fundamental flaws in the work of several click fraud consultants - flaws that help explain why widely quoted estimates of the size of the click fraud problem are exaggerated.' They even point out some obvious shortcomings of the methods used. The entire report [PDF] is available with their complete analysis."

This is the link to the PDF

    Thanks

Interesting, I have always thought those figures were exaggerated, but still, this analysis is from Google, and it would be in their interest to play down click fraud. However, I do think the figures were indeed exaggerated.

I have email like that from adsense too.
The most important is don't click any adsense banner on your site or use google engine from your site

In the days before the internet, all ads were static. That is, no one had to click on ads in magazines or newspapers. But the ad community was still a multi-billion dollar business. Now people are expected to change life long habits and interact with ads when they never have before the internet. Of course there will be room for abuse if people are asked to change their habits from simply looking at an ad to interacting with one. I am still in the looking at ads stage. I can honestly say I've never clicked on an ad.
