Google possible Make-over?

I was wondering, do you think Google will possibly redesign their website substantially? I mean, search engines seem to be following a more visually appealing trend, whereas Google still has the plain white look. Yes, the load time is always going to be those few milliseconds faster than competition, but with internet connections being updated as they are, I wonder whether Google will atleast offer a cooler way to search.

I hope not. It's nice and works well as it is without a bunch of crap you don't need.

Google is regularly updating their algorithms to provider users most accurate results. Look and feel doesn't matter. And as far as plain white look is concerned everybody loves it.. Atleast I do :D

I sincerely hope not also. I would very much doubt it. When Google left the competition behind many years ago, it was in part down to its simplicity (as we as better relevancy, of course), but the uncluttered look definitely won a lot of people over.

Google already does its bit by changing its logo on important occasions and that is good enough to make its page visually attractive!

I guess....majority of the people would vote for a blank and uncluttered page as they would prefer to directly get on with their task of a search, without getting distracted! :)
