Nice information. This is true. Google+ is an impressive social effort from Google but what Facebook has that it doesn't is being a platform. Right now, outside developers can't build apps on top of Google+, though that functionality is in the works. When Facebook opened up its platform, it left as many viral channels open as possible to draw in developers attracted by the hyper growth possible on the platform.
There are few favorable things for Google plus that are missing in the faceboook user friendly interface. They are: 1- You can add circles so no need to waste time on a single user rather. 2- You can sitback and see the Google stream go updating. 3- Google retains the Pluses for each post and has impact on search engine results for the most plused one. 4- User data is safe from the affiliated marketers on Google plus that could be said being at risk at fb. So it seems like google plus is going to beat facebook
Your all the points about comparing facebook and Google were absolutely right. Few months ago my point of view about Facebook is far higher than present but I have seen some really good features which were so good for personal and for business purposes in the Google which were far better than Facebook as you have mentioned. Their Circle, Pluses for each post and much more.
G+ has failed to capitalize on Facebook's constant changes (and forcing users to adopt changes). These always upset users, yet G+ didn't find a way to turn this into traffic in late 2011, and I don't hold out hope that G+ will do so when FB forces its Timeline to be universally adopted. This is why G+ will never beat (or truly compete with) FB. My G+ was hot when I signed up months ago. Since later 2011, I have had only a handful of new people I recognized to add to my circles, nevermind people adding me to theirs. My stream is of the same 3 people over and over. G+ is just about dead as a true social network...
Yeah, but it looks more like Bing's attempt to dethrone Google, than Facebook's attack on MySpace (which even Tom of MySpace admits was inevitable).
I think that Google does have the upper hand on the whole Google Plus vs. Facebook war and they will be able to maintain it if they play their cards right. However, people just don't seem to click with Google Plus as they do with Facebook. I don't really know if you can beat Facebook's easy layout and stuff like that. If Google Plus can offer something of more value than Facebook, then obviously they'll become more popular.
hi, good noon According to my views its very difficult for G+ to beat Facebook why because it is prevailed deeply with people world wide and more comfortable , secure and with lots of tool and facilities that provides complete array of solution to the users today's need. G+ up to now has nothing to come up with.. it has to follow a long journey...
I don't think that it can beat facebook and facebook let them to be beaten by google+. But facebook will be afftected by google+ surely.
It's scrap look is not very attractive to amateur users the kind of users who share there every day photos music videos it has a professional look
it can happen it they will add games and other entertaining stuff... we can't deny the fact that a lot of Facebook users use the app because of its games....
I doubt it will ever beat Facebook. Facebook would have to not update their website for a very long time to give Google+ a chance. I doubt Facebook would ever do that.
Well there is a real war there hard to say who will win .. people are get use to fb but still that's Google... so believe that in few years they will be at least even ...
Facebook is a huge social network as compared to G+, SO G+ needs to take alot of time to reach upto the level of facebook
