Google Plus would not exist were it not for Facebook. Google has been trying for many years with various products, and not succeeding for the most part, to "get social". What does that mean for all of us, people who market via the Internet? You can look at it one of two ways: 1. new opportunities or 2. yet another place you have to "do something". The fact the Google is basically copying, or trying to replicate, the Facebook experience just means one thing: You need to now implement a Google Plus marketing plan. We have already implemented this into the social marketing "tasks" of The SEO System.
I have both account but dont use them often, maybe every one month. Facebook will remain the strongest social network for long long time. Facebook set a standard that can only be copied because it is a perfect.
Only using Facebook, Google+ isn't yet what i expected and almost none of the people i know is using it actively. Beside that i see some copied stuff, Google+ still can't compete with Facebook.
