I read a blog stating that Google in order to promote the plus social network is deleting private Google profiles. Only the public profiles will be intact. My worry is that will this update from Google change SEO for good or worse?
It is definitely for good, i'm sure Google has weighed their option before reaching that conclusion. Google won't do anything that won't benefit both the users and Google.
I think this update from Google might be good for the SEO. Probably one of the many cool ways to increase your site rank and etc. with +
It may affect your SEO in a good way... Because its a social networking site and just like any other networking website it will help you in improving your SERP rankings... Since Google consider social media reputation while assigning SERP rankings.
How will deleting private profiles change SEO in any way? I don't see the connection. Obviously the private profiles were not being used anyway, so they may as well delete them. And to be honest, I don't understand why someone would create a profile, then make it private. Its like starting an ad campaign, but not telling anyone what your advertising. An oxymoron. IMHO Cheers James
i don't they are going to do that, they are rebranding most of their products and services to unify with this google social networking...
