Hello DP, I have some questions regarding google and SEO, Well from last few days i was trying to make my keywords rank high onto google.com ... I was working for approx 4 Keywords.. My daily routine was to do: 15-18 Social bookmarking.. 10-18 directories submission.. 3-4 Blog commenting ... My keyword was not visible earlier but sooner i started doing SEO i found keyword on 18th page then on 7 and then 5th... And other keywords were doing the same... From those 5 keywords.. 3 of the keywords are on Top page 1.. one keyword is on page 2.. and one keyword suddenly disappears.. They keyword was " Chicago home builders" It was on 7th when i checked last but from last 3 days it is not visible on google.com. I thought may be my URL has banned or punished by google.. So, i checked the site using.. Site:"mydomain.com" on google and i found my link... It means the URL has not banned by google, If that so, then where does my keyword goes?? I cant find him even on 57th page either. I am looking forward to get the responses so, it could help me.. Thanks every one in advance for suggestions and comments....
you might have used the same anchor text in all your backlinks. This may have dropped you in rankings. When you suddenly see your rankings completely lost that means your site was penalized for black hat seo. Search google and see which are the black hat seo practices. When you will correct what you did wrong your site will automatically come back to the same rankings. Its all automated by google.
Yes, I get the same "Page Not Found" error from the link you posted - but is that the correct link to your site? Also, sites do bounce up and down the rankings sometimes for no apparent reason; it's best not to worry about the exact ranking every single day. Obviously, you want your average ranking to be high up on page 1, but strange things happen sometimes when Google shuffle their databases, cheers, Jon.
Its been 4 days, The keyword is not in the google list yet... Are you sure i do not need to worry sir?
I think you don't need to worry about this, sometimes we have to face such kind of thing is seo, i would like to suggest you that, don't do work on this keyword which is not visible in search engine. I am sure it will come back on the same position within few days where it was.
no time for google to play games..its just site is not cached recently.just try to post your site in digg.com ,reddit etc.you will see the changes within 2 days
