Hey Guys! Google keeps updating its features, tools and applications, but this time it has planned to discontinue its formerly developed online software application, 'Google Wave' as a standalone product but has planned to extend this technology to be used as an integrated application in other Google Projects. Though Google has decided to maintain the older version till this year end. The reason for this is that the earlier standalone service was failed to bag user adoption. Let's see what happens this season with new improvised version of Google Wave. See the Google's announcement here: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/update-on-google-wave.html Cheers,
yeah, Google will close wave services soon ,due to lack of user interest, but will continue to use the technology. Now the question is whether Google Buzz survive? Google buzz is not so popular and failed to attract users as expected. Meanwhile Google is developing a face book rival, a competitor to face book ( face book like service) . Google might come out with a better social platform this time.
'O' Yes you are right google should change his old technology because there are more SEO company using like black hat tech.
Google Buzz is pants lets face it, why do they try to be the best at everything, it isnt possible, they should stick to search results and nothing more.
Nice. At first I thought they were discontinuing Wave outright, which would have been a shame since Wave is so powerful a tool even if it is misunderstood by the populace at large (you know, the ones that didn't take the time to actually watch that long ass video). But integration into other products is a logical step at this juncture.
