google planning to decrease minimum payout to $50

Have you heard about google reducing to decrease it min payout to $50. If this happens then i can't imagine the impact of it on adsense.

 

Instead of decreasing the min payout they should focus on allowing new payment methods for international publishers other than this cheque that takes months to be cashed in. It is not that they don't know about direct transfers, they accept it for Adwords!

 

$50 or $100 I do not see the point in changing the min payout !!
Let's face it, $50 is nothing and $100 is far from being much even if you live in a very very poor country. So don't tell me that there are people who make less than $100 a month who rely on this adsense payment.
Even if some do, well instead of getting $50 every month (and pay bank fees for it in some cases) they could get $100 every two months and spend it in two phases.

 

adsense4money i agree i have 700$ in adsense and still waiting (i have payment on hold) i whant to get a sum that will really make me happy

 

Careful with putting your money on hold though- I have heard of people losing several months worth when they unexpectedly got banned!

Seo4china- in many countries they already pay Adsense direct into the bank. We get it like that, not a cheque. I don't know what the situation is where you live, but it might be worth looking into it.

 

Absolutely, I think that a decent cheque every 3 months is a good standard.

 

Maybe there are lot of webmasters who barely make $50 a day and this could very well be the reason behind this decision. BTW, Any source that could confirm this?

I don't think that is true, but for sure it would be nice for lots of people.

 

More payment options will be better. What's the use of google checkout when they not using it with adsense. Or EFT to more countries. Cheque taking too long.

 

I only barely make $50 a month at the minute, but it's not a problem. The really annoying thing is waiting a month for them to process the payment. Especially when it's by EFT. It shouldn't really take that long. It'd be even better if we could withdraw it ourselves on request but i can't see that ever happening.

 

Well in my opinion they should concerntrate to make payment fast for international members so that we don't have to wait for that 1 month to get our reward for hard work.

 

yup, that right. For international members like me it take about 1 month to clear the cheque and it also take a month to received the cheque from adsense. Total time is 2 months. (If their account not in hold or banned).

Maybe $50 is not much but much greater to wait until $100 but suddenly their account been banned without relevant reason.

I dont think its true. I have never heard about it. Can anyone give source for confirmation otherwise I would treat as a joke.

 

They need to focus on e-gold, moneybookers, and paypal payouts more than $50 payouts.

 

E-gold always seems so dodgy to me. I doubt they'll ever use that. Or paypal actually or monebookers actually. They just need to focus on speeding up the payout. IE - if you reach $100 at the end of the month - you get it within in a week. There's no excuse really when you're using BACS.
