    Google places listing? If it is a listing why do you want to optimize it? Or is it a profile from Google? I do not understand your question either, please clarify!

    Submit your business details at Google Local - http://www.google.com/local/

    Choose your keywords and categories while submitting. Also add your business in legitimate directories. Google will take information from those directories and support your Google Local information.
