In an effort to increase our reviews on Google Places we have initiated the process of asking clients to post a review while we are doing a post launch meeting. We've found that making a request during a personal meeting is far more effective that a simple email request to post a review. However, here is the issue/question - Our Places listing just disappeared after years of being anywhere from#1-#3. Our Google dashboard shows our listing to be "active". I'm wondering if having our clients post from our computers looks like spamming to Google. I will add that the Google Places listings where we normally appear changed about 90%, it's not just our listing that disappeared. I have another Google Places comment that I will post separately. Please read it as well. Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Yes I'm sure that having multiple reviews posted from the same IP would look spammy. Not sure if Google penalized you for it though. Their algo can pick up on lots of things that most people don't realize, but not sure if it picks up on reviews from the same IP.
