We run a directory of xxxxx Independent Distributors over at http://mydomain.net... also provide them with a replicated personal site like: http://mydomain.net/mark each with unique username. We serve hundreds of distributors around the country. I see when you search for things like "Our product wichita ks" local distributors will show up, and I have played with "Google Places" personally. I'm wondering if I can help the distributors who use our services to rank locally by bulk uploading data (with their permission of course) using the bulk upload tool? If so, if I upload store names as: Our Product Independent Distributor Joe Blow Our Product Independent Distributor Cindy Sue Our Product Independent Distributor Other Guy Along with their business address, phone, etc will it help them appear in local results? or will Google view this as keyword stuffing? Any other tips for submitting multiple locations to Google places would be appreciated.
I would highly recommend running this by the Google Places forums. It is a legitimate question so you should ask away.
